At Clos, wine isn't about complicated terms or stiff tasting rituals, but about discovering what you like. The wine bar and restaurant on Beukenplein serve over a hundred handcrafted wines from small winemakers and family businesses. The enthusiastic team is happy to help you choose and, in the meantime, tells you more about the makers, grapes, and regions behind every bottle.
More than a hundred wines to discover
The wine list takes you on a journey through well-known wine countries and smaller, surprising wine regions. Many wines are available by the glass, making it easy to try something new without ordering a whole bottle right away. Indicate which flavors you enjoy or let the team surprise you completely.
Clos works directly and personally with small-scale winemakers who pay attention to craftsmanship, nature, and the character of their region. As a result, every wine has its own story. Moreover, you don't need to be an experienced wine connoisseur: it is precisely the relaxed approach that makes Clos accessible to anyone curious about good wine.
From spontaneous drinks to elaborate dining
At the front, you will find the wine bar, where you can enjoy a glass of wine and dishes from the bar menu. Further back is the restaurant. There, the kitchen serves a changing menu featuring original dishes inspired by the regions where the winemakers are active.
The dishes and wines are meant to complement each other. You can enjoy an extensive dinner with matching glasses, but you can also drop in for a drink, a few smaller dishes, or a final glass after dinner. During the High Wine, you will taste several special wines with small dishes and receive an explanation of the chosen pairings.
Relax and enjoy at Beukenplein
Clos has a warm, contemporary feel without the formal atmosphere that sometimes surrounds wine. Inside, the wine bar and restaurant flow seamlessly into one another, and in good weather, you can take a seat on the terrace overlooking the lively Beukenplein. Whether you are looking for a new favorite wine, want to enjoy an elaborate dinner together, or simply fancy a good glass: at Clos, discovery comes first.
