At Rayleigh & Ramsay Oost, you don't have to choose from a handful of open wines. Along the walls, more than a hundred bottles are ready for you to taste yourself. With a personal wine card, you pour exactly the amount you want: a small tasting sip, a half glass, or a full glass. This way, you can discover unfamiliar grape varieties and wine regions without immediately ordering a whole bottle.
Tapping and comparing yourself
The wines are clearly organized by taste profile, from fresh and light to rich, smooth, or powerful. This makes it easy to find your way, even without extensive wine knowledge. If you would still like advice, the team will help you choose a wine that matches your taste or the dishes on the table.
The special tap systems use argon to keep oxygen away from the opened bottles. This allows Rayleigh & Ramsay to offer special and more exclusive wines by the glass, while preserving taste and quality. In addition to classic wine regions, you will also find natural wines and lesser-known producers in the wine walls.
Food, drinks, and a touch of Italy
Accompanying the wine is a menu of dishes meant to be shared. French, Italian, and Asian influences come together in oysters, charcuterie, cheeses, and various hot dishes. As a result, you can just as easily walk in here for a light drink as you can for an extensive lunch or dinner.
In addition, the location in Oost hosts its own Osteria on two fixed evenings per week. An Italian chef serves a changing three-course menu that evolves with the seasons. Familiar dishes, matching wines, and relaxed dining together take center stage. The regular wine bar concept and the well-known wine walls remain available during these evenings.

Rayleigh & Ramsay Oost is located on the corner of Linnaeusstraat and Wijttenbachstraat, close to Oosterpark. The relaxed atmosphere makes the wine bar suitable for a spontaneous glass after work, a tasting with friends, or an evening where you want to extensively explore new combinations.
