Orchid House moves with the rhythm of the day. In the morning, it is a bright spot for coffee and something sweet; around lunchtime, the first dishes are served, and later in the evening, dinner, cocktails, and music take over. Due to its location right by Oosterpark, this all-day meeting place feels urban and relaxed at the same time.

Mediterranean flavors with a Latin American twist

The lunch and dinner menu changes with the seasons and has a Mediterranean base, complemented by distinct Latin American influences. Fresh herbs, crisp acidity, and smoky flavors from the grill recur regularly. The menu may feature dishes such as ceviche, birriatacos, fish with moqueca, and contemporary variations on Mediterranean classics.

You can order individual dishes or choose the chef's menu. The kitchen is suitable for a relaxed lunch, dinner with friends, or various dishes to share. Orchid House also has a separate café area for coffee, plant-based milk, fresh pastries, and a light bite.

A glass house full of greenery

The spacious interior, the glass roof, and the many plants complement the view of the park beautifully. During the day, daylight streams in; in the evening, the same space takes on a warmer, livelier atmosphere. On the terrace, you sit amidst the greenery and look directly out onto Oosterpark.
