On the Pannenkoekenboot, an outing isn't just about what you see outside. As the Rotterdam skyline passes by, a buffet with freshly baked pancakes awaits inside. This way, you combine a cruise on the Nieuwe Maas with unlimited food and a fun activity for the entire group.

Pancakes with plenty of choice

During the cruise, various types of pancakes are served, including plain, apple, and bacon pancakes. Afterwards, you can get creative with sweet and savory toppings. From syrup, powdered sugar, and fruit to cheese and other treats: everyone puts together their own favorite combination.

Because you can visit the buffet multiple times, you can take your time trying different flavors. Vegetarian options are therefore easy to arrange, while other dietary requirements are best mentioned in advance when making a reservation. Drinks are generally not included in the standard ticket and can be ordered on board.

View of the Rotterdam skyline

The Pannenkoekenboot departs from the Parkhaven, close to the Euromast. From there, you sail onto the Nieuwe Maas and see Rotterdam from a completely different perspective. Along the way, you look out over the Erasmusbrug, modern high-rises, historic ports, and the bustling activity along the river.

The boat features a covered indoor area, so the outing is not dependent on good weather. You sit comfortably at a table and can look outside in between to take photos of the skyline.

Extra fun for children

For families, there is another reason to sail along. In the boat's hold, there is a large ball pit where children can play after dinner. This gives parents time to linger at the table in peace, while the youngest passengers entertain themselves downstairs.

In addition to regular cruises, the Pannenkoekenboot also organizes longer trips, themed cruises, and packages for groups. Available departures vary by day and season. Booking in advance is therefore highly recommended, especially during weekends and school holidays.
