At The Harlem Social Club, you decide what goes in your glass and how much you want to taste. Along the wall stand wine dispensers with nearly a hundred different wines from all over the world. Choose a small tasting glass, a medium-sized glass, or a full pour and create your own wine journey throughout the evening.
Taste without ordering a bottle immediately
The self-service tap system makes it easy to discover unfamiliar grapes, countries, and wineries. You don't have to choose a whole bottle right away and can try different styles side by side. This makes the wine bar accessible to curious beginners and interesting for experienced wine lovers.
Those who would like some guidance can ask the team for advice. They will help you find a wine that matches your taste or the dishes you order. In addition to the wide selection by the glass, there is an additional selection of special wines by the bottle.
Shared dining with wine
The Harlem Social Club is more than a wine bar. From the kitchen come dishes meant to be shared and paired with various wines. The menu ranges from oysters, charcuterie, and cheese to burrata, steak tartare, seafood, and hot grilled dishes. There are also several options for vegetarian guests.
You can walk in for a single glass and a light bite, but just as easily stay for dinner all evening. The kitchen remains open until late in the evening, allowing dining and wine tasting to flow seamlessly into one another.
New York vibe in Haarlem
The interior is inspired by Harlem in New York and the glamour of the mid-twentieth century. Dark colors, warm lighting, and striking details give the establishment a stylish look without being formal. Moreover, located on the Gedempte Oude Gracht, you are centrally situated, within a short walking distance of the Grote Markt and the shopping streets.
The Harlem Social Club also organizes wine tastings and interactive wine games for groups. This makes the venue suitable for a birthday party, a night out with friends, or a company outing. Reservations are advisable, especially on weekends.
